All Savannah Voiceover Academy classes are live and online, taught in real time by your instructor via Zoom. This isn't a pre-recorded course — you'll get real-time feedback and direction.
It depends on the course. 1A: Booth Ready is designed for beginners and requires no prior experience. Other courses build on those fundamentals, so check each course's listed level (Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced) before enrolling.
A computer, a quiet space, and a decent USB microphone are enough to get started. We cover home studio setup and mic technique in detail in 1A: Booth Ready.
Courses run 2–4 weeks, meeting once a week online for a 2-hour session. Check the Calendar for current class days and times.
Yes — we will be helping produce demos at a later date, building toward it through the Building Character Voices course and the 3A: Advanced VO Demo and Career capstone.

Yes — we host occasional in-person screening events in Savannah, showing past directed work with a talk afterward. All screenings are free. Check the Calendar and News page for upcoming dates.
Absolutely. While the Academy is rooted in the Savannah community, every class is fully online and open to anyone, anywhere.
